Thursday's Afternoon Stocks to Watch

The market is trading lower today. The market is dragged down proprably by the scandle of the HEWLETT PACKARD CO (HPQ) CEO Insider info revealed. Or this is just a mere correction from yesterday's strong advance. Further weakness is alo due to the fact that the Philly Fed factory index dropped to a reading of -0.4 in September from 18.5 in August, well-below economists' expectations of 14.4. It was the first decline since April 2003.

The good earning news from (FDX) did not help the market either. The price of oil is still sitting around $61 did not help the market either. The drug store chains are dropping because of the Walmart announcement of $4 for generic drugs. Ouch! Profits are squeezing for these companies.
