Thursday's Afternoon Stocks to Watch

The market is trading mixed in the afternoon. It came off the bottom from this morning's drop. This trend still proves that the market is relatively strong. (SIGM), the stock mentioned yesterday, it dropped over $1 in the morning, it then recovered and onto the positive territory now. That is why to stick with the strong stock like (SIGM).

Stocks were higher early morning but turned down after the Chicago purchasing managers index slipped to 49.9% in November from 53.5% in October, the lowest since April 2003 and below forecasts of a rebound to 54.4%. Readings below 50 indicate contraction. It then turned back to positive in the afternoon. It good sign for the bulls.

Wednesday's Afternoon Stocks to Watch

The market is trading slightly higher in the afternoon. It is off the high it made this morning. Volume is on-track to be lower than Tuesday's pace. (PNTR) continues its downward movement from yesterday's slide. This low float was up over 30% last Monday after it announced dual listing. So watch out for lowfloat stocks. It can be a double edge sword.

(SIGM) is the star of the day. Volume has tripled from normal. It announced better than expect earning. It is in the hot sector of the industry, HDTV and IPTV components. Keep your eyes on this one.

Tuesday's Afternoon Stocks to Watch

The market is trading slightly higher in the afternoon today and stablizing after two straight days of decline. Inflation is not a concern, a statement came from the FED chairman at midday brings the market back into range. The next few trading sessions will show us how the market will behave in the near term. I would still watch for leadership to form.

Small float stocks can be rewarding or damaging. A case in point, (PNTR) was up big yesterday after it filed for dual listing, but it faded away today with heavier volume. (EFUT) is up from the high teens, profiled around ($20) a few weeks ago. It is now trading about $44. We have to watch them very closely if you ever want to trade them.

Market Is Back To Positivie Now

After several days of vacationing, I saw some of my holdings down over 10% as well as others down 5%, I was amazed on how could stocks down so much within a few days. The market is fluctuates so much to the downside yesterday. The Nasdaq market was down over 2% (over 50 points) and DOW was down over 150 points. It looked very nasty. The volume picked up on the NYSE.

The market was down when it opened this morning. It has came back to positive as I am typing this blog. The next few days would be crucial to see how the market behaves. I would be nibble at this market instead of just buy and hold. (CSCO) has bounced back almost $1 now. It is still strong as compared to other tech stocks. Avoid the stocks in the wireless field because of Nokia (NOK) warning this morning.

Tuesday's Afternoon Stocks to Watch

The market is trading slightly higher in the afternoon today. The market is still running strong. Buyers are still coming in after we saw this morning's downward movement. We have a lot of money sitting and waiting for buying opportunities. We are going higher.

A good indicator for the bullishness is the high price stocks are soaring: (GOOG) is surpring $500 with a $11 price move, (MA) is over $100 now, (NYX) is up $7 on a $96 stock before open, and there are more examples of them. The bull is alive. Come join the party.
