Thursday Stocks to Watch

The market is trading mixed in the afternoon after the July 4th holiday. Nasdaq is still attacking the 52-week highs from the pre-holiday strength. The tech sector is still on fire. Notably (AAPL) and (RIMM). (RIMM) is having a 3-for-1 split soon. It is possible that we may see $100 post-split for the stock by the look of the momentum.

Stocks worth watching:
(SMTX) - another new high, it has been new highs for the past few sessions with a less than 10% gain on each session. A very steady move instead.
(RIMM) - Its phone to b sold into China
(AAPL) - a similar deal with CHina or other countries?
(CREE) - Broke out of trading range with decent volume.
