The market is trading mixed in the afternoon. It had an initial surge at the open after the good November retail sale report announced before the open. It then quickly faded away. That is the the type of action we wanted to see. That has been a lot of consolidation going on lately. Perhaps the market is waiting for something to happen before heading to the upside again.
