Stocks are Marching Higher

Despited market weakness yesterday and oil price is closed to all time higher (almost $75 per barrel), the market is trading higher this morning. The traders are expecting the FED to stop the rate hike for the coming meetings. But anything can change if the strong data is coming out tomorrow morning. Then again, with the past market actions, it looks like those prediction is priced into the market.

Wednesday's Afternoon Stocks to Watch

At about 2:00 pm EST, the market is trading off the low of the day, but it is still off about 1.5% on the Nasdaq and almost 1% on other indexes. The good news are:
1) lack of volume as compared to last week's up days.
2) Most of the leading stocks are off a small percentage

Hopfully, tomorrow and Friday will give us more clear indication on which direction the market is heading. Friday is the big announcement from the US government regarding the labor market (unemployment rate and labor cost).

Stocks Is Sinking

The stock market is giving up all the gains from Monday's gain plus more. This downtrend movement is using North Korean's missle launch test as an excuse to sell off from last week's strength. Even though the market has followed thru during last week, it still does not guarantee a new bull market will rise, but it just serve as a confirmation for bottoming is forming. Let's hope we do not have to test those levels again in the near future, but today's action is leaning toward that. I would be still cautious right now.
