Friday Stocks to Watch

The market is tanking in the afternoon without any sign of recovering. The weakness is contributed by several factors: missing earnings from (CAT) and (GOOG), (CAT) is the global cyclical stock, and (GOOG) is the titan in the internet space; subprime isuues is back again? residental home construction is not the bottom until end of 2008. Maybe this just another excuse for the traders to take profits off the table today. Hopefully the market will recover some of the losses by half like previous sell-off a few days ago. Hang tight and pick an entry point of the stock you wanted.

Thursday Stocks to Watch

The market is roaring after yesterday's recovery from major down turn. Most of the strength came from great earning from(IBM), expectation of good earnings from (MSFT) and (GOOG) after hours, and great recovery from yesterday's selloff. I expect (GGOOG) and (MSFT) to beat estimate after hours. Winners will be rewarded in a good market.

(MSFT) - expected good earning after hour
(GOOG) - expected good earning after hour
(AVCI) - guided higher and great earning
Shipping companies, (EXM), (DRYS), (TBSI), (DHT)
(CLWR) - big contract from Sprint, risky before earning

Wednesday Stocks to Watch

The market is tumbling in the afternoon after some bad news from several fronts. Bad news include the following: missed margin by Intel (INTC), bad earning from (YHOO), subprime loans are getting worse than expected from (BSC), small growing economy, and higher than expected CPI. These news just provide the catalyst for the bears after the DOW kept making new highes, as well as Nasdaq and S&P 500. I believe one bad day does not make the bear market. We have to see how the market behaves in the coming days and decide what action to take. In the meantime, do not panic and do something irrational.
